did anyone read the article on how Dr. P has come into camp now 30 lbs. lighter than ever? I read it on yahoo sports about how he's being the true vet. and putting guys in there places and taking on the roll of mentor to the rest of the team, it seems like he isn't going to give up the starting position very easily. If anyone wants to read it it's under SBNation thursday notes: lions takepractice field today. Anyways it looks as thou Culpizlle is doing what it takes to keep the 41million dollar bench boy just that a bench boy. I know we all beleave that he is going to play at some point this year but I still want Culpizzle to hold tht job for at least 1 if not 2 years to let Stafford get that (rodgers) feel for the game, and develope the way that alot of the better QB's have had their time to learn the game. AKA Steve Young, Favre, BRADY (although he played due to injuries to bledsoe) , Elway (remember he didn't start until injuries forced him to; Rivers; ok you guys get the drift. I still have a hard time liking Dr. Pepper for those years in Minn, but those are long ago and a Moss away. So I wish you well and hope you force the lions to give you another year on your contract, I think that would take a play-off birth to do so but hey who knows what this year is going to bring, Hopefully a Pro-bowl birth for a LIONS QB. Wouldn't that be a HUGH SUPRISE!!!!! I do like the fact that they actually put a picture of Culpizzle in uniform and man does he look fit! He has a determined look on his face also, I just hope it isn't a KOOL AID look. GOOOOOO LIONS!!!!
