Seeking to add depth, and perhaps create some training camp competition, the Detroit Lions have added a pair of veterans, neither of whom played in the NFL in 2008.
The team confirmed it has signed defensive end Eric Hicks, and guard Toniu Fonoti to one-year contracts. Financial details were not immediately available.

Then click on the video with Schwartz’s face on it… It’s actually pretty hilarious… The music they play in the background is ridiculous for what they’re talking about. I was laughing my ass off. Plus the quote:
“Why didn’t you decide to do something easier, like fix the US economy?”

They came in to apply for the new scouting jobs and Mayhew is making them earn it.
They took a year off. I bet they were tired after the OTA today.

I remember seeing these two guys before. And I don't mean at the local Jiffy Lube.
Especially Hicks. I thought he was a pretty good player.
Well, since a lot of posters on this site seem to think that Daunte can return to his glory days because Linehan is here, why not Hicks with Cunningham!
Woo Hoo!! 9 and 7 baby!
