Yeah boys! The first of all firsts! Mike Furrey has a new home-Cleveland will benefit from Detroit's stupidity in releasing the only guy with heart on last year's team! Mike, I wish you the best of luck on a fresh start with a new team. Your generosity and philanthropy will be missed in Detroit; but our loss is Cleveland's gain. Hope you enjoy many days, and maybe even super bowl ring, while there!

Nice guy...

but a one hit wonder as a receiver. Had a pretty down year last year and is not a spring chicken anymore. Good move by Detroit to cut losses and get younger at receiver. Derrick Williams will hopefully take his place as a younger, faster version in the slot that can ACTUALLY return kicks as well. I think that is what Furrey was supposed to be doing at times last year, but he may have ended up being the worst returner in Lions history.

All that hatin’ aside… I like Furrey and hope he does well. Hate the Browns, though.
