MEGATRON
I hope all you Lions fans out there understand & appreciate the talent we have at wide receiver. I dont mean the entire wide receiving core, i mean CALVIN JOHNSON. I followed Calvin throughout his career at Georgia Tech and there wasnt a single game he did not dominate when they got him the ball. When Detroit drafted him, i was doing cartwheels in my living room. He LED THE LEAGUE in TD catches in only his 2nd year as a professional. ONLY HIS 2ND YEAR! Its very possibly at some point in his career, he may become first receiver in league history to hit the 2000 yard mark for a season. I honestly believe that(record is 1800+, J.Rice). Sure, it may take a couple more years for the Lions to contend in the NFC, but lets all appreciate the fact the we have the most dangerous weapon in football on our squad…..

Call me queer!
You are right we have the best player in the game possibly, just like we did with Barry. Lets hope Megatron can take us to the promiss land.

Seems unlikely
Calvin looks virtually uncoverable, he’s much too big for smaller, quicker corners…and much too fast for the bigger, more physical corners. I think Calvin’s limitations come from inexperience and the rest of the team not being able to competently perform their job.

What we need is a soundscreen
A dependable #2 that can take off the presure off of Megatron. Anybody think that Pettigrew can be that player?

Possibly
Although, I don’t see Pettigrew being athletic enough to draw coverage away from Calvin, I see him being the more dependable, posssession type receiver who Staff/Culpepper will look to for first downs. Hopefully, Bryant Johnson will show his talents on the otherside of CJ, I mean, he’s never gonna have a better chance in the NFL, considering the fact that he’ll constantly be one on one with the coverage. Derrick Williams could also possibly develop into a great no. #2.

Did you mean "Starscream"...
I’m assuming you were making a Transformers reference here.
BTW… loved the Transformers movie! My kind of stuff… lots of CGI and lots of explosions.

Should of been soundwave.
It’s been too long since I was a little kid watching the cartoons. And I don’t even think he is in the movies.

You bet she does!
Although her botox injected fishlips are a bit of a turn off in the second one… just look from the neck down!

I didn’t notice…wasn’t looking at her lips.

Calvins limitations are only with the QB...He is 2009 version of 1999 Moss....
And his career should follow the same path if he can get a QB that will just throw it up.

I have big expectations for Stafford throwing it to Calvin.

Yeah, should be a lot of Stafford-to-Johnson balls since...
Stafford will be the starter by the season opener. I’m just hoping that if I simply say it enough, it wil come true and he will be named starter. Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start… Stafford will start…
Did it happen yet?
