Wednesday Notes: Stafford Visits NFL Network
- NFL.com has video of Matthew Stafford's interview on NFL Network yesterday and a transcript of his chat as well.
- During an interview with Dan Patrick, Stafford didn't have much to say about when he thinks he will be the Lions' starting QB.
- Julian Peterson thinks the Lions going 0-16 last season is a challenge for everyone now on the team.
- Former Lions Jon Kitna, Jeff Garcia, and Charlie Batch made a list of the top ten backup quarterbacks.
- The Detroit Tigers Weblog has a very interesting behind the scenes look at what goes into the making of a Tigers broadcast on FSN Detroit.

DETROIT GETS SNUBBED AGAIN!!!
I demand to know why Daunte is not on this list. I think he is a better back up than Tavaris Jackson for sure. Even better than Charlie Batch too!
According to the backup quarterbacks article, Charlie Batch won more games as a Lions starter than he lost…besides thinking, “What we wouldn’t give right now to have a QB that meets that standard!”, I’m wondering about the accuracy of that statement, because I seem to recall he played into the Millen era, and the Lions really bit it hard the first year of that disaster, leading to the Joey Harrington pick that just sealed the decline.
Is there a list somewhere of Lions starting quarterbacks, and their records as a Lions starter?

I did 'The GOOGLE' and used PRO-FOOTBALL reference.com
You are correct. Charlie’s record as a Lions starter from 1998 through 2001 was 19-27. He finished his Detroit career with an 0-9 run in 2001 while the Lions went 2-14.
Just another reason not to believe anything you read by a ‘journalist’.
