I loved his optimism

he seems confidant that they can really turn things around. That is great to hear from a player. Hopefully he is right in his playoff prediction!

but why do athletes always look un-presentable on tv? All that money, you think these guys would have some respectable clothing to put on when they’re representing their team.

I’m sure if he was coming in to the studio to do a longer Q & A session, he’d put on a sharp suit or whatev.

It seems they were just contacting him for a quick chat while he’s away training hard for these few weeks before camp, so I don’t think he really needed any more formal attire than what he had on.

He certaintly didn't give much away about the Staff vs Culpepper situation

I really hope he has a good season, he was one of our few bright lights last year.

I dont understand why people get so impressed by a player optimism. What do you expect him to say? “Uh, last year was tough but I think going down in the record books by going 0-32 is at least still getting in the record books.” They have to say that and if they said anything else I would question whether or not they belong in professional sports.
