I think

he’s got the talent to gobble all the dots, but he always gets caught by ghosts before he can get to the power pill and realize his true potential. No thanks.

So basically what Orwell was saying was, "it's not perfect, but I'll take it."

No thanks

Dude is a complete moron and no matter the talent, I wouldn’t want him on my team.

IF he cant see success in Dallas

Where all the cards are in his favor and still cant get out of those strip clubs come on. I dont want to mention an ex head coach of the Lions but sometimes “football character and the right frame of mind is better than talent”. That coach shouldnt be allowed on Pride lol.

Not a big fan

Had too many problems off the field for me.

Yes...

Let’s bring him to basically the crime capital of our country. That would be a great idea.

Remember

Swartz already had this guy. He was drafted be the Titans if I remember correctly. I highly doubt he wants him gain. I am sure he was part of the reason he was released form the Titans.

Under a heavily stipulated contract

I’d be willing to give him a chance, provided he can present evidence that he’s taken concrete steps to improve his character. Judging by the general lack of interest in him, I doubt he’s done this. If he’s on his game, on and off the field, he has the potential to be a #1 corner.

Thank you.

Where did you get that pic from?

All it was missing was the group of v-queens from the love boat and it would of been complete. Uh oh i forgot Culpizzle is already here, get a charter boat ready.

The Lions are neither...

one player from a Super Bowl nor so desperate for shock value that they’d add this thug. He belongs with the Cowboys. Let him play there.

by DrewsLions on Jul 23, 2009 9:56 AM EDT reply actions

If not a cowboy

Make him a raider, thee other other team that all bad eggs go to to die, damn I just said that?

by davis0169 on Jul 23, 2009 11:10 AM EDT up reply actions

he's a bust...

people just ignore that by focusing on his off the field issues. “If it wasn’t for this stuff, he’d be the best”. Plenty of players have been trouble makers off the field and still start on teams and have long careers, but it’s because their pros outweigh their cons. Pacman is mediocre at best and will probably end up in the UFL and eventually lose interest there and never be heard from again.

I agree with lions_sucker

No one wants to face the facts that he was terrible in Dallas. He couldn’t crack the lineup. Why don’t we ask Anthony Henry about him?

If he was a superstar then maybe give him a chance but he isn’t good.

by The Maestro on Jul 23, 2009 11:23 AM EDT reply actions

Why ask Henry?

He was with swartz in Tenn. I don’t want him personally, but let’s look at this for a min. He COULD be an asset in Det.. He possibly has more talent than the current CB’s on our roster, This isn’t going to be the same D-fence that he was in in TENN, but Cunningham needs physical CB’s to get in the faces and bump at the line. He can do that! I think he’s a cancer to any team, But Dallas didn’t use him right in alot of situations when he was on the field. Pac-man needs to be up in bump-n-run coverage that’s where he succeeded when in TENN. Dallas had him off the man alot in man-coverage. Like I said I don’t want him to be a lion, but he IS better than over half of our current CB’s and if h plays for cheep. . . . .we do have, what is it 7 mile rd? Is that the strip club rd? someone help me out here.

seriously

If Jim Schwartz is a good coach he will leave him where he belongs, unemployed runnin the streets. I believe he is a good coach so…..

by Yardpenalty.com on Jul 26, 2009 5:50 PM EDT reply actions

WHY NOT?

hahaha…. why not?? i think the detroit lions have nothing to lose at this point… sign him to a contract based on incentives, he does awesome and gets paid.. screws up or does bad he doesn’t get paid… the detroit lions (bless their hearts) are a winless team… when that happens you have NOTHING TO LOSE!! is it physically possible to get any worse? Lets pick up Michael Vick while we’re at it… at least he would be fun to watch.

by shuyck1019 on Jul 30, 2009 11:13 AM EDT reply actions

lol....easy there boldylocks

Exactly what the Lions do not need is 2 big distractions and two ego maniacs in the locker room. Vick and Jones are not the kind of players that foster positive change in an organization. Sure, they might perform well individually, but these are not team players in my opinion. At one time I too thought that Vick might be a good addition to the team. However, upon further consideration I think he will bring a media circus bigger than TO’s and he will want more money than he is worth at this point. Pac-Man Jones is a jackass and I never thought he was anything truly special. He is an average player with a big head.
