There's been alot of discussions about who will be starting... This is not what this post is about.  Culpepper is a proud player, too proud to be back up to a rookie.  If Stafford is in fact ready to go from week one, I believe Culpepper will be out of Detroit before week one.  Traded, released, it doesn't matter... the Lions need to get rid of the extra 'rooster'.  So I throw it out there for discussion...

If Stafford is named starter, will Culpepper stay?  Should he stay?  Will he cause a distraction/power struggle with Stafford(because we all know he'll have his ups and downs)?

I say Dump Culpepper.  Trade him if you can... but release him before week one if you can't.  (So as not to have to pay him)
