See You At The Home Opener, Boys!
So I got my tickets to the home opener against the Vikings this morning! Can't wait to see the Lions drill Brett Favre's 90 year old tush into the field turf and get their first win since the end of the... gulp... 2007 season. Didn't get the greatest seats (behind the Lion's bench on the 15 yard line, 30 rows back), but doesn't matter. I'm gonna be so jazzed for this game! My youngest brother and I are taking my 4 year old son to his first Lion's game (sniff, sniff ...tear). And yes... we will both be sporting our new Stafford jerseys... even if Culpepper is starting.
So did anyone else get their tickets this morning? Who's going to what game this year?

I got( and will be getting more) a bunch of tickets
for me and my wife.
Washington 9/27
St. Louis 11/1
@ Seattle 11/8
@ Baltimore 12/13
Arizona 12/27
@ San Francisco 12/27
Chicago 1/3
Cant guarantee that I will make all of these games. I have various friends that will buy my used tickets. So, that is the reason I have picked those games. Still hoping to be able to go to the Thanksgiving Day game. But, Seattle, San Francisco, and the Bears are locks.

Very nice
How are going to get to all those games? I assume you travel a lot, but don’t you live in San Fran (I could be mistaken and too lazy to check the “introduction” thread… but I thought you were a Cali guy now)

yeah I do in in San Francisco
I save all year so I can see some Lions games. When I lived in Detroit. I was a season ticket holder. Passed on from my Grandfather. I miss watching the games live. So with my job. I do get some vacation time near the hloiday season. So, I can travel over the weekends.

going to the opener...
still gotta get tickets, but I just got tickets for this Saturday plus the Tigers game right afterwards, so I gotta wait a week to get more tickets. Plan on going to the Browns and Bears at Ford Field and making the trip to Cincy cuz I have family that are Bengals fans as well.

Let's hope
If we don’t see the Lions win a Super Bowl that your 4 year old son eventually does…

Enjoy the game Sean
I’ll be watching in the Apple but will make a trip out to one of the games in the winter. I’m not buying any tickets AND flying out there AND paying for a hotel room if this team is utterly uncompetitive. I’m in wait and see mode.
Enjoy the game and when I was 4 years old and went to an open to the public Lions training camp back in 1977 I fell instantly in love with this team – I hope your son feels the same thrill and becomes a life long fan. Enjoy.

Awesome
Enjoy the game, should be a great one to go to. I’m going as well – got tix off StubHub right next to the tunnel where they’ll be running in, pretty sweet. It’s going to take about a 7 hour drive for me to get up there from where I live, but it’ll be worth it once I see our Lions drill Brett Favre into the turf!! Plus, seeing the official home opener of the new regime will be pretty sweet too…….can’t wait. Even if we lose, will still be an awesome time
