Am I missing something here?

Other than my sanity ofcourse. How is it tat a younger better looking running back like Ervin gets cut, and yet Colbert and Cason are still on the roster. have I missed something here? did either of these guys do anything so far this year and I just missed it. There are all kinds of free-agents out there that could bolster and probably start at the opposite side of the field from Buchanon; namely McCalister, and yet we keep picking up guys that I have never heard of before. If I streatch my imagination I guess I can figure out why Cason is still here, he's a veteran and can return kicks; not very good; but he can return. But why in the world is Colbert still on the roster? Sean and Gang is Cason doing something in practice that just doesn't transfer to the game? Can anyone figure out why these 2 are still in Hon. Blue and silver? With Casonthe only answer I can come up with is he must have onehell of a cap hit if we let him go cause other than that his azz would of been one of the first RB's cut if I was running the team. And isn't this refreshing a post that doesn't have anything to do with Staff or Culpizzle.

Ervin...

is hurt, so might as well cut him and put someone in his place that could show something in the two remaining preseason games. I doubt that Cason, Colbert, or Ervin will make the roster cuts no matter how long they each last, so no big deal. Also, it takes more than an offer from a team to sign a free agent, the Lions could have tried to sign McCalister but he could’ve said no way, you suck, or no way, not enough money, or no way, bad location. Either way, he might not want the Lions and not the other way around.
