Time to bring the LBs

safeties and anyone else. Put Brees on his arse a few times. He’s completing the passes anyways. May as well try and take away his timing. Sitting back and letting him pick us apart is a recipe for 28 more.

Given that we've overturned half the roster and started a rookie qb

I can’t say I’m as disappointed as I would be if we had played DC in this game.

We've had

one good drive all game that ended in a field goal and our only other opportunities have been off of good field position and turnovers.

Wow

Bell had it punched loose and Delmas picked it up, sprinted by Brees and was gone!

Go Delmas!

Without pictures and delayed audio, things can be pretty disorienting.

Well

It’s been a crazy game, but I haven’t been completely pissed all game like a lot of games last year.

The Lions:

The only team in the league where an 11 pt deficit is an improvement

Didn't we keep it respectable last year with him?

I know we should have won one of the two games.

Out of the frying pan

and into a different but equally hot frying pan. That’s the way it goes.

by Trysdor on Sep 13, 2009 3:55 PM EDT up reply actions

yep, playing against him in a different ff league

His last TD was sick, the guy had him hogtied, and AP got away and scampered into the end zone

I'm fairly sure

Calvin will have a much longer career. We’d have blown AD’s prime like we blew Barry’s.

by Trysdor on Sep 13, 2009 3:56 PM EDT up reply actions

sad.

You can just see the lineman reaching for brees, desperate for a sack.

Good bye, Figurs.

With Northcutt good on punt returns and Brown looking good on kick returns…no need for him

by Barry the Great on Sep 13, 2009 3:55 PM EDT reply actions

He did get a tackle

That has to count for something

at least

the Lions are looking like they want it, just need Stafford to settle in and start hitting some pass’s.

We need a 4th-quarter comeback

Time to activate Drew Stanton and wheel him out there, lol

It's gotten to the point where

the only way to stop them is to force a turnover
