Need to find a way to get Calvin the ball a little more in the 2nd half
if we want to do anything

Have to score on the opening drive
And we need a bunch of stops. Gosh this is going to be tough
We didn't lose the games, we just ran out of time -- Bobby Layne
Yeah, just looks like a bad D getting beat up by an excellent offense

Agreed
Did anyone REALLY expect us to win this one anyway?
We didn't lose the games, we just ran out of time -- Bobby Layne
The numbers for
the offense aren’t that great either.
Being down so much is probably a factor
Which sounds a lot like last year unfortunately

Julian Peterson isn't even on the stat sheet.
Where’s he been?

Time to bring the LBs
safeties and anyone else. Put Brees on his arse a few times. He’s completing the passes anyways. May as well try and take away his timing. Sitting back and letting him pick us apart is a recipe for 28 more.
Strahan's gap tooth is so distracting

Yes we had a lot of missed opportunities
with the pick, and the bush fumble

Agreed
With our defense playing the way it has, we really need to capitalize on all opportunities we can

I really want to
do a Lions vs Saints game on Madden and play it like it should turn out.

Only one false start, I can live with that

we got 2 unsportsmanship conducts

I can still live with that
If the defense was having a good game, those penalties would hurt more, but as of now they’re just more shit on top of the pile
We didn't lose the games, we just ran out of time -- Bobby Layne
must keep postive, a TD drive and some luck who knows
Let’s see it HC can keep things cool, need better play calling to help Staff,
Given that we've overturned half the roster and started a rookie qb
I can’t say I’m as disappointed as I would be if we had played DC in this game.
by WestsideLionsFan on Sep 13, 2009 2:58 PM EDT reply actions
We've had
one good drive all game that ended in a field goal and our only other opportunities have been off of good field position and turnovers.
Well at least we've had the ball longer
Although it’s because the Saints score so fast.

Staff has been throwing alot of balls low
We didn't lose the games, we just ran out of time -- Bobby Layne
He's been throwing a bunch off of his back foot too.
Got happy feet.
I expected Staff to make bad decisions
but really it’s been his bad throws that have been the problem so far.

The knock on him before the draft was never
arm strength. It was accuracy and decision making.
wow over 200 yds off passing
That’s unnacceptable. Where’s Ko Simpson? Or even Kalvin Pearson

have they called it a TD on the challenge, or are they still looking at it?

Unbelievable
That’s a play as a ref you let go and then fall back on review so that the td can happen
