Eagles cut Baskett

Do you think we should go after him.  He has to go through the waiver wire.  Do we still get first pick.  I'm kind of excited because he is from my home town.  The only problem is that i'll have alot of part time Detroit Lions fans jumping on the bandwagon.  The more the better, i guess. Plus he's married to Kendra. Is this 75? Not not yet. When he was the Eagles, he brought down Mcnabb and others to a charity basketball event.  I hope he would do the same if he lands with the Lions.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

But don’t the Lions have waiverpriority for a couple more weeks?

Yes

For two more weeks I believe, though we could still have priority after that (hope we don’t).

Special teams

I visited the Eagles page and alot of fans seems upset that they cut him. Not cause he’s a WR but more cause he worked hard on special teams and blocked well when he was in the game. He is also the talles WR on their team if that counts for anything. He is athletic as hell though.

He is a great player ...

but if anything WR and Special Teams are not immediate needs for this team. I like the idea of going after a D- lineman much more than bringing on another WR (as talented as he is).

Agree with IowaLion

Baskett is a talent, and he might just find his way here, but I think the Line and our secondary should be our biggest concern.

I agree also

To many other holes to fill and WR isn’t a need at the moment. Really need defensive help, if it wasn’t obvious. LOL

Plus, Kendra is very open about being a Chargers fan....

Don’t expect her to show up at Ford Field in a pink jersey ala Jessica Simpson. The Silverdome, maybe…….

What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.

Don't do it...

he’s a waste of time. The Eagles don’t exactly have the greatest WR group and that they cuz this fool….why grab him?

What the f$%k is the internet?

Just saw a headline

“Mr. Kendra Wilkinson Signs With Colts”.

Says it all.
