The curse breaking game?

It seems that all of the "analasists" are torn about this weeks game with the Redskins and our belovid stumble bums. I'm going to throw this out there and see where it goes. 50 years ago the greatest Lions QB put a curse on our franchise, that technically doesn't end until this year is over. Now I know most if not everyone of us knows of the curse, and If you are not up to speed let me remind everyone that Staff infection came from the same exact high-school in texas as Night train Lane. Now we as lions fans also know that the Redskins have some kind of dominance over us in the same time frame. So I call it a curse as well; I meen the BEST runningback the game has ever seen couldn't even beet the Redskins in the best statistical year the lions have ever had. Yes I'm refering to the Scotty Mitchell year.So If Staff infection is ging to break 1 curse for us why not just break all of the curses that go along with this franchise. If Staff can somehow find away to beet the Redskins this Sunday;although no one will get to see it; I will call the curse of Bobby Lane over and we can actually star to look towards the future. What do you guys all think about the curse? Is it over if we win this weekend or are we destinned to be the Buckaneers of the 70's for the remainder of WCF Sr.'s days as owner of the team. It's just so sad that we are in week 3 and already not going to get to see the lions until Thanksgiving day on TV. I am refering to home games ofcourse. Oh wait the Bears fans and Packers fans travel well so we are going to get to see 3 more games on TV this year. YEAH. Pope Sean Paul, I am sorry that I talked smack to you a few weeks ago after you did that radio interview on the Buffalo station. You are a more level headed guy than me and actually saw these lions for what they are, not what we want them to be.

The Big Lead

The guys who do this site are from Detroit, but are Jets fans for whatever reason. Anyway, this is what they have to say. I found it interesting and relative to your post.

Hey, why not?

Miami started out 0-2 last year and made the playoffs… So did Minnesota and one other team who slips my mind.

And I did know that, but for some reason (puff puff pass) I put the wrong Lane in there. I needed the “passing” lane. reguardless I think you guys knew who I was talking about. lol ;-)

They can win this game.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, If they play like they did in the first half of last week and Staff can get them in the end zone instead of turning the ball over in the red zone, we the Lions can and should win this game.
In regards to the Big Lead thread, 80 pct. completion rating for opponents against our DBs is just rediculous.
I don’t know how much faith I put in the curse of Bobby Lane. IMO, our biggest curse is WCF SR owning this team.

I don't believe in the curse

But then again, I’m not a superstitious fella.

Keys

i think we will win if we don’t have any turnovers. That is what killed us in the last game. By the way I really hate the Vikings. I can’t remember the last time we beat them.

our rookies turnovers

have killed us in both of the first 2 weeks games. And if any of you out there watch NFL live on ESPN, Mark Shlerith (i just killed his name) said it right, our Lions have not put together 4 complete quarters of football, in over 2 years now. When we can do that we will be back on the winning track.

I also agree with you

Until we show the drive and ambition to play 4 complete quarters we will continue to have problems.
