2010 NFL Draft Order
Below is a look at the current order of the first-round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Many of the picks are already in place, but there are some ties that need to be broken by a coin flip at the NFL Combine. Also, the order of the last 12 picks is dependent on what happens in the playoffs. Teams that lose in the wild card round will get the earliest picks (20-24), and ultimately the teams that end up in the Super Bowl will have the last two picks of the first-round.

yup
and be patient… grrrrr April is coming…
GO LIONS in 2010! the transformation starts now.. they have much to do.
I don't think that's true at all, Sean
If they’d beaten the 49ers, they’d have gotten two fewer wins on their overall SOS because the Niners are a divisional opponent they played twice, which I believe would have given us the lower SOS.
Hmm
Didn’t even think of that. Rams would have ended up with 2 more wins for a total of 135. And we would have gained a Rams win and lost a 49ers win, meaning our total would stay at 134. Thanks for pointing that out.

i thought we would have had the 2nd pick if the rams won
with the first tie break coming from head to head…then they move to strength of schedule…again, doesn’t matter now…but had me hopping for about the first quarter…lol
the 1st tie breaker is strength of schedule
the team whose opponents have the lowest win percentage picks first.

I work with a Rams fan, guy from St. Louis
Besides rooting for a crappy baseball team he knows his sports and says the Rams will most likely take Suh though they need a quarterback really bad. He want’s them to take the QB right away. Sucks. We’ll have to see how the offseason shakes out and the combine. You never know, Suh may not be a lock at #1 by the time the draft rolls around. One can only hope and pray that is the case.

LMAO
…well, there you have it. You can’t get any closer to an authority than a guy who lives in St Louis.
I heard from a guy in Detroit that we are going to trade Calvin. LMAO.

A guy I know from New England has been telling me
that the Patriots are really interested in a Brady for Stafford swap. It’s a lock, I tell you.
and don't forget our San Diego friend...
he says they will trade Cromartie and Merriman for Sims and Avril.

Very intelligent reply. You must have spent hours thinking up that one.
I was just commenting on what some Rams fans are hoping for. The point is the Rams are in dire need of a quarterback but Suh may be to good to pass up. If you’d have read the rest of the comment you would have seen that I said we’ll need to see how the offseason and combine go and hope someone else shines (Clausen, maybe) that’ll make the Rams look at someone besides Suh. He may not be a lock at #1.

me thinks he just wants suh
dont you rember what we all saying last year..
“the lions arnt going to draft stafford we got stanton in the 2nd.. where going curry its a lock”lol
Outside of the Expansion Bucs from 1976
I don’t think anyone is ever as bad as Detroit is/was. Even the Rams, they’re not in critical need of a QB, they can get one in FA to hold them over or draft one later. Bradford/Clausen are very underwhelming right now.
PIZZA?!?
I'm not actually sure the combo of Kyle Boller and Keith Null
is even a tiny bit better then our combo of Culpepper and Stanton was.
But they have Bulger still
granted that’s not much, but can still serve as a 1 year stop gap
PIZZA?!?
Really...
Who are the franchise QB’s coming out next year that are more valuable than this qb class?
This year: Clausen, Tebow, McCoy, Bradford, Pike, LeFevour and 6-8 teams that need a qb.
Next year: Locker, Locker, Locker …said like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Hope Locker doesn’t get hurt like Bradford did.

I wouldn't blame them in the slightest for doing it
but the Rams would be playing a very, very dangerous game if they bank on a franchise QB slipping to them in the 2nd.
that's assuming one exists around in Rd1
Outside of Mallet & Locker, unsure of next year, maybe Keenum (don’t trust him).
Clausen is a little overrated & Bradford was a spread QB, when his weapons went away, he was a mess this year.
PIZZA?!?
I hear the Mallet talk...
and we all saw him at U of M. He is SO streaky though. Half the game is like a machine, the other half he looks like a pile of parts…inaccurate, inconsistent, etc.

Jan 15 is the deadline for them to declare.
It would be a good decision for him to come out while his stock is high. It seems like at the start of this year Jevan Snead was viewed as one of the top potential QB’s in the country, but now he won’t likely be drafted.

2011 Draft QBs
Jake Locker
Jevan Sneed
Ryan Mallet
Greg McElroy
Case Keenum
Tyrod Taylor
Andy Dalton
Christian Ponder
Zach Lee
And more I probably can’t think of…they might not sound like much now but they all should have good senior years. The cupboard is not bare after locker next year!

And more I probably can’t think of…they might not sound like much now but they allshouldcould have good senior years if they don’t get injured or regress or their O Line sucks . The cupboard is not bare after locker next year!
There. I fixed it up a bit. Look at Bradford and Snead. Bradford might have been the #1 QB in 2009 [although I think the Lions would have still taken Staff] and Snead was being projected into the top ten in 2010 at the start of the 2009 season.
A lot of things can happen.
!!!
Ryan Mallett might declare for the draft. THAT will certainly mmake things more interesting!!
I would think Tony Pike would be an interesting later round pick
He’s got the physical size to do it, so could take a flyer on him, otherwise, he can be a backup.
PIZZA?!?

rumours on espn
the first of a million to come…say that the rams may not be so sold on suh…not sure why…but i likey!!
Good spot
I didn’t want the no.1 spot again. This isn’t much better, but it’s a start
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).
Zack Follett: he will hurt your mind.
Wouldn’t count on the Rams taking Bradford or Clausen, both will already have a surgery under their belts; I’d be especially weary of Bradford.
It’ll be interesting, because Suh should go #1 or 2, and as others have pointed out, there’s more than a couple teams wanting a QB, and 2011 as of the 2010 draft won’t seem to be nearly as deep at that position.
Would you swap picks with Denver
To pick up Brandon Marshall?
Would we have throw a mid round pick in or more?

Does toe surgey hurt a QB's draft stock?
Just give me 25 guys on the last year of their contracts; I'll win a pennant every year....Sparky Anderson
likely not...
just makes it convenient enough for him not to participate in the combine…only staged/rehearsed pro-days
yes
a terrific #2 to calvin…helps staff with options that can catch…and still in position to draft a solid dline/safety/corner/ol…still leaves lots of options.
Does anyone know...
….if we have any additional picks in the later rounds this draft? I honestly can’t remember if we’ve got multiple picks in any rounds or are taking a round off. I’m just curious.

I'm pretty sure they're just picking #2 in each round
I don’t believe the Lions have any additional picks. I saw this draft order on FFL Toolbox

Eric Berry
Is anyone giving any thought to Eric Berry? I know we need a DT, and it seems like Suh and McKoy are 1 and 1a, but I thought our DT’s were serviceable. Our saftey play outside of Delmas was awful, and I recall seeing a revolving door of players and mistakes at that position.
Do the best safety’s in the League add more value or do the best DT’s? I really don’t know and I think a case can be made for both. Thoughts?
