Alright, I admit, I went with the "Sensational" Headline.
I know we are all Stoked for the Future of this team. And after this weekend I was hopeing to Add a #90 SUH Jersey to my Collection ( #9, #49, #81). But then I saw this article and now I think I'm gonna wait.
After a Decade long relationship with Reebok, the NFL is jumping ship and Nike is taking over all Jerseys and On-Field Gear for all 32 NFL teams. In addition, New Era, the same company that does MLB hats. Is taking over all On-Field head gear.
Is this a ploy by the NFL to sell more Merch to their fans, Probably. But I am a Sucker for "Officially Licensed" Gear. We will have to wait and see how the pricing goes, but provided it is comparable to the Reebok stuff I kinda like this move.
What do you guys think, I know It's gonna be a year. But I already can't wait to get my #90 Nike Pro-Combat Lions Jersey.

There are some really good “Authentic” Knock-Offs out there. I’d never pay $250 for a Authentic jersey off the NFL site.

And most of the athletes that represent it. No, it’s not just a Eldridge thing. Although that would be enough. I’ve decided to get my Reebok soon. Still wearing my Barry #20 though. Waiting for a Lion player deserving of another purchase. Suh, Best, Staff, they’re all great but, will they be Lions in 4 years? We all know the biz side of this sport. Maybe I’m cheap as well CLF, not so cheap as to go the China route. You know, American jobs lost and all but, I just can’t afford to
keep buying jerseys of players that are no longer on my team. It’s sort of like my Konstantinov
Wings jersey. Timeless. So, who’s gonna be timeless on this team?

If Staff can keep from being injured. He has a chance. Best is possible too but less likely because of the average life expectancy of the position.
On Defense, Suh obviously and Alphonso Smith has an outside chance. Detroit fans are hungry for a play maker in the back field.
Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.

Got my Cal connection jerseys from my wife( a Cal grad) #49 and #44

Nike plans to alter the jerseys like they have done to collegiate jerseys as well. Hate this move, another instance that the NFL doesn’t care about it’s fans (see blackouts for more proof)
I dunno, I'm certainly a fan of the Ducks' uniforms.

Honestly, Michigan's Helmets are the only thing that make their uniforms look good.
That and the color scheme. The rest of it is just a plain blue jersey with maize numbers. Nothing really-out-of-this-world.
The Canes got some good looking uniforms this offseason, I’m kind of a fan.

I know it’s just a concept, buuuuuut…
Getting rid of the black trim is a welcome move if you ask me… and maybe I’m traditional, but going back to this style number (font) suits me just fine. Although the current stylized numbering would probably look pretty tight too..
I'd like to see an inverted color scheme...

I want in on some of these knock off authentics that look real.
As of now I have a throwback Barry (It always get attention, one of the best Ive seen). I have no clue how much it costs. It was a gift. But the company that makes it (Mitchell and Ness) were selling them for like $300 years back.
Then I have a Megatron I got for 20. Its normally one of the 80 dollars ones but for some reason they had it in the section with the jerseys of past Lions like Charles Rogers and Kevin Jones lol. It was tagged and everything at 20. Unfortunately its the old uniform though.

He said he can get real authentics for 40. Maybe its those knock offs and he doesnt know it. Either way I told him to get me a Road Suh. Ill post pictures and if u like it Ill send the link to his website.
Also this Sunday while tailgating this guy was trying to sell me one of those mid tier jerseys (not authentic but better than most replicas as it had the sewn numbers) that usually cost 160 for 40. It was a road Calvin. I tried it on and it was a size too small. That thing sold quickly after I couldnt fit it. People were waiting in line to get it lol and were glad I couldnt fit it haha.
