Did anyone else notice this?

In the Rams' final drive at the end of the game, the Lions pulled all of their starters on the defensive line - Sammie Hill and Andre Fluellen were the tackles and linebackers Julian Peterson and Zack Follett dropped down to play defensive end (Turk McBride had sprained his ankle earlier in the game).
A lot has been made, in the press anyhow, of the offense finally getting to wrap up a game with the victory formation. It turns out the Defense did the same thing prior to the lions getting the ball back for our offense. JP and Zack as ends, wish I could remember that.

JP is a starting caliber DE, albeit under-sized
I’ve seen him line up there before on 3rd downs, even though that isn’t his normal position obviously. I didn’t see Zack in there at DE either though.

yeah...
When I read that on MLive, I was like, how did I miss Follett lining up at end. Peterson looks like a end, so no shock that he blended in, but it seems like Follett would’ve looked way out of place. It’s nice to see a game that we can call it a day with time on the clock still.
I can't help but be curious what Follett looked like playing that position.
Was he overwhelmed or did he actually do something? You have to figure he could really only speed rush but it would have been nice to see and recognize it.
Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.
Follett played a lot of rushing outside LB at Cal
JP was a rush LB last year—even put his hand down at times.
yeah
I would have liked to see him with his hand on the ground, just so unusual for him so far.

let me know how it looked and how he did please.
I am not even sure how many plays we used these 4 in this fashion together.

In addition,
tell us who was playing LB, we had a bunch of guys out at that point, or were we running with extra DBs to take away the pass.
In my opinion, they are some of his best work in relation to the Lions.

I saw Peterson lining up at end, but...
missed Follett. Wonder how he did against an offensive tackle? Lol… I could venture a guess that he was pretty easy to contain…
He is fast
He could try the speed rush!
