During the football season Saturdays should be a day of excitement. A day that feels just a little too long as it delays the arrival of tomorrow. Tomorrow being Sunday, a day of football and another chance for our Detroit Lions to win a game.

Sadly, this is not the reality for Lions fans this day.  Tomorrow seemingly presents us with an opponent holding our kryptonite.  Ready to stuff it down our throats and wait for us to choke to death.  Merciless and cruel, they are ready to chew on our souls and we know it.

You know what? Fuck that and Fuck them.  I am tired of accepting a low level of performance.  I am tired of Saturdays spent with no hope for tomorrow.  If this Franchise, GM, Coaching staff and team wants me to be excited on Saturdays again, they have a golden opportunity tomorrow.  They can win a game that no one, myself included, thinks they can win.

Somehow, someway....  This team needs to find a way to win tomorrow.  If they have to hire ninjas to sneak into those cheese eating savages houses and spike the milk they no doubt drink every morning with rhino sedative, cool.  I am good with that.  If they have to use the time machine in the basement of Ford Field to go to the future and return with Mutant Rabid Radioactive Chipmunks to hide in the visitors room lockers, cool.  I am good with that too.

This is the level of desperation I have been driven too.  Degenerate ravings mashed onto a keyboard in vain attempt to muster up some enthusiasm for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, a day that used to never get here but sadly seems to come too fast lately.
