I KNOW, ITS HARD TO BELIEVE! Our Lions have actually caught a break from the Refs. Due to our timely bye week, we will not have to endure the initial week of stiffer nit picking on helmet to helmet hits. We all know the league loves to stick it to the Lions and we all know the first week of a new rule is always judged by the Refs the most heavily handed. We get to sit on the sideline, heal up, and watch the actual way the refs are going to call these new rules. We can learn from seeing it in live action. We will get to see those massive financial penalties and learn from other players being suspended, instead of our own players having to suffer.

I am almost giddy. Why did it take me this long to realize how incredibly beneficial this is for our team?
