Five things to Love for the Future

Happy Halloween indeed! Lions win. I really do not care about stats or rankings or anything. Just win and I will be happy. Yet, here are Five things that just keep getting better and better and better for the Lions.

5. 3-1, 3-4 Defense (or whatever)

Do not know if it has been used before or will be used again. But I saw it on a couple highlight reels and it was awesome! Gave Kyle Vanden Bosch the ability to do whatever he wanted. Just great. Would like to see more.

4. Alphonso Smith

Seriously? He is becoming a lock-down corner. Four INT's in five games, 1 TD. In the one game he did not get an INT he shut down one of the best WR's in the NFL at the moment Hakeem Nicks.

3. D-Line

BEASTLY. That is all.

2. Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson connection

Three TD's for Calvin in first game that Stafford returns is not coincidence. These two have something special when on the field together. Good chance these two become the next elite, deadly combo in the NFL.

1. WINS. Like I said at the beginning. It's all that matters and we learning how to do it. Wins = Respect (except from Redskins fans).

There were many thing to Love in this game. But we did make mistakes, BUT, we overcame them. Now that is a real NFL team. Go Lions!!
