Why the Lions will win the next 2 games
Well let's start with Hill, he's been growing into this offence. I'm sure Linehan didn't think Stafford would of been hurt this bad that early in the season and it showed. Games we probably would of won was slowed not by Hill but the offence learning him and how he throws. Hill had some success in SanFran because his WR new him and how he throws, while Linehan built the offence around Stafford and his cannon arm. 4 games in now the WR and Linehan know how to use him now that's why were moving the ball better.
Rams: This will be a close game won in the 4th quarter, being at home will be the biggest factor. Quick slant passes and YAC are the big factor here. And of course Linehan learning within the 30 yard line just to throw it up to our bigger WR and let them make the plays. Best will look for screens and big sweeps to the outside for possible homeruns scores. Now that the offence is comfortably with Hill moving the ball will happen.
Giants: Why will they win you ask, well Eli not really lighting it up right now. our D-line has kept us in games we wouldn't of been in a year ago. I actually think we will win bigger in NY than against the Rams because knowing we have a bye week and Stafford will be soon on his way. By this time the offence will play like Hill was the starter since preseason and know all his throws. I don't want to repeat myself but the 1st 4 games have been a growing exprience with Hill and were now ready to reap some of the benefits of that process.
With a possible 2-5 record going into the bye, I think some good times could be on the way for the Lions. The key factor here is Linhean calling plays around Hill and trusting him. Going into the bye with a 0-6 record is basically starting to look at a top 5 draft pick which I think can still be avoided.

i agree the defense is jelling as they play every game.. cut the mistakes and they could be 2-2 maybe 3-1… the chances for wins increase as they play … it’s a matter of time
GO LIONS in 2010! the transformation starts now.. they have much to do.
agreed
but looking at the games all 4 were winable
week 1- the screw job by the refs.. still think they was paid off by the the chi-town mob
week 2- was very winable lost by 3 1-2 less mistakes and we are 2-0
week 3- was our biggest lost but still could have called a bit better game plan a few less mistakes now we are 3-0
week 4- take the chance and go for the FG still with in Hanson’s range now 4-0 and the biggest turn around in NFL history…
But it has always been said you win and lose by inches in the NFL 1 bad call 1 mistake and that is the ball game
we have the talent now(always need more improvement) we just need to learn how to finish the game… play 60 minutes not 50… and we will be better than 0-4
Lions fan for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's me looking into the future at the Lions going to the Play-offs by 2011 and going to the Super Bowl in 2012!!!
I drink a lot of "spiked" blue kool-aid... Having no problem sharing cuz it sure is good!!!!
I think we will beat the rams
Giants eh? we can but we have to play are best football and few mistakes either that or Hakeem Nicks has a career day.
GET WELL SOON MATT! We need ya man
Me fail english thats umpossible
we do not have a bye next week
We play the Giants. I know they have been pushovers for most of the season so far, save the chicago game, calling them a bye is insulting. :P
Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.
Correct Giants next week, then Bye, then Redskins
Ndamukong Suh - Bringing 50's football back to Motown!
I think we are getting ready to go on a tear and will win quite a few of the next 3 or 4 games.
I really do think we will beat St. Louis. Especially after our loss last year.
Each game we play is winnable
We just have to play to our potential, which is hasn’t quite yet. If we cut out the mistakes and penalties, we could well be on our way.
RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
