How about Randy Moss?

Put on Waivers by the Vikings

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that the Vikings have waived Randy Moss.

If the report is correct, the Vikings have given up on Moss just four games after acquiring him for a third-round pick on October 5. After calling out the coaching staff in his Sunday night press conference, Moss refused to travel with his teammates back to Minnesota, instead staying in Boston with his family. He'll now be subject to the waivers process, with any team claiming him on the hook for his $6.4 million salary prorated over the rest of the season. The winless Bills have first dibs.

hahaha

I seriously watched that 20 times and laughed harder each time. About Moss we dont need someone like that on our team. I would rather have D Williams get a shot in the slot. Moss should have caught that pass yesterday but clearly gave up not really what we need.

NO to Randy Moss

Say what you want about him. He is on pace for a 622 rec yards this year. His skills are going down hill.

We will have to pay 5 mil for his contract that Vikes will not be picking up…they are picking up 1.5 mil for the 4 games he played.

More then likely he will not extend his contract with us, not sure you would want to really.

If he even helps us win 1-2 games, we get a lower draft position. Giving us a inflated win record for the year but since he would leave at the end of the year, our win record would be false since we only borrowed his services for a few games.

Bad influence for our young guys. He takes plays off in games as well as practice.

To me, yes he may help stretch the field or get CJ open more. But we are not at a place were we will be in the playoffs and a real SB contender for a year or so. That being said, why sign a 36 or how ever old he is kind of player who wants to be payed like 6.5 mil. We could get a top safety or LB for that price, a much more pressing need then WR.
