NFL Network Reports QB Matthew Stafford has a Grade 3 Right Shoulder Separation, may be out for the season

Well folks, this is my first blog post, and unfortunately it's to report bad news. I don't know if this is cold news or not, last I checked it was still just speculation. I woke up and flipped over to NFL network, and this was the first thing I saw. They reported that it was a grade 3 right shoulder separation, and that he was likely out for the season. They are reporting that will NOT require surgery, and it is a DIFFERENT injury from the original one suffered in the first half of Week 1 vs the Chicago Bears. It is reported that Stafford is "Ruled Out" for next Sunday's game versus the Bills. Of course if this is true, then the Lions will be starting QB Drew Stanton. I am officially scared of the winless Buffalo Bills now.

This still brings up some questions from me, though, the main one being, "Why were there reports of Matt walking around without a sling on?"

The next question being, even though Stanton will most likely be starting on Sunday vs. the Bills, if Shaun Hill and Matthew Stafford are going to be out for a while, will the Lions try to prepare the seemingly semi-impressive Zac Robinson for a starter job in weeks to come? From the little I've seen of him in Youtube videos, and reports of him being the best in the Senior Bowl, it seems like he's the better option out of him and Stanton, once he knows more about the Lions' offense.

What do you guys think? With the possibility of Shaun Hill and Matt Stafford being out for a while, would you like to see the Lions give Zac Robinson a shot? Maybe it was a gem of a waiver wire acquire, or maybe he's another scrub? Let me know what you think!
