The Rushin four, Disassembly line what ever you call them. They are the identity of this team. There are a few snipits of this I wanted to share.
I can only speak for myself. I think I played very average," said Lions rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who leads the Lions with 6 1/2 sacks. "There are some things I did good, some things I wasn't happy with. You're going to have those games, but you have to re-focus.
Everybody's playing with speed, and that's the most difficult thing," Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said. "Everybody's flying around on that side of the ball. We're looking forward to the challenge, and I hope we'll be up for it on Sunday.
Not necessarily, Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham said. With left defensive end Cliff Avril ailing from a hip injury, the Lions might not have their front four intact. If that happens and backup Turk McBride -- or somebody else -- can't pick up the slack, Cunningham will go to Plan B.
"We'll blitz," Cunningham said. "We did it in the preseason game -- I think we blitzed them like 30 straight times. We'll do it again.
I saw (Gailey) coming off the field after the game and he said, 'Gun, you haven't changed.
The thing that really stuck out to me is if Avril can't go Gun will look to the Blitz to help with the pressure. With the Bills O line I think Tuck and Low Jack can get pressure. There no Cliff Avril but it would be intresting to see what kind of Blitz packages are we gonna see. DBs LBs. I can see Louis doing some serious damage with holes Suh and Corey can make.
