2007 Miami Dolphins
I believe some people do not understand the magnitude of the rebuilding process that is occuring with the Detroit Lions. Its been a year and half and some people calling for the head of the head coach. The 2008 Detroit Lions was the worst team ever in the NFL. They were a disaster as they embarrassed all of their fans and the city of Detroit. But no more than a year and a half later there is clamour about canning the head coach. Its understandable to want better but unreasonable to expect a complete turnaround in a year and half when it has never been done with such a bad team before in the history of the NFL. No coach or front office of any NFL organization has ever done it. Some might what about the the 1-15 Dolphins in the 2007 season. Okay, if thats what you feel lets's just look at the two teams and you tell me if its close to the same.

The Lions got beat by 79 points more and gave up 80 points more. They had similar numbers in offensive rank but Ronnie Brown didn't play half the games and Ricky Williams only played one game. On defense, they Joey Porter and Jason Taylor.. The Dolphins were more talented than Lions. The Dolphns changed their defense, drafted a left tackle and got back their running backs. Did they have to turn over their roster like the Lions did because of a lack of talent? The two situations where not simllar. No one has or had to do what is being asked of Jim Schwartz. And some people are talking about him needing to be fired after a year and half? WOW
