My points to a Lions victory
- Pass to set up the run, our run game is horrible right now. Mise well start out passing hoping that as the game goes on we can squeak in some runs worth some value
- Best is not healthy, use Morris and Brown as your primary backs. It pains me to watch best right now because he's a shell of himself. When 90% of your run style is cutting and explosiveness it shows when your toes are blown out.
- Throw a couple trick plays in the game, how about a flea flicker, on 4th and 2 how about a fake punt or FG. Have we tried any trick plays this year I guarantee the Pats won't be looking for it
- Make the Pats beat us with thier run game, THATS RIGHT I SAID IT. Brady is gonna sit in shotgun most of the game mise as well force them to run and see if our D-line produces.
- Pats don't have any big recievers, let's gamble and gamble big with the blitz. I'd rather go down swinging early rather than let the Pats slowly eat us from the inside out slowly.
- Let Hill throw the ball down field.

NE has two good running backs...
If we drop seven into coverage then brady will be perfectly happy to hand the ball off all game and crush us. Especially due to the fact that he has a bum throwing shoulder right now…. The only chance of winning this game is the hit him early and often but that will be difficult cuz they have an excellent O line as well as 2 excellent blocking TEs…. This game looks bleak
If our linebackers do not watch those two running backs coming out of the field
we will get killed by screens

Screens
Haven’t been wildly successful against us this year. The Giants tried it like, one time vs. us and then stopped trying because we blew the play apart so quickly.
CLF was right. Stanton should be starting, and Hill can’t do anything until he’s behind in the fourth quarter.
The reason screens have not worked so far against us.
Is the Vanden Bosch and Suh have such high motors, they make a lot of those stops. If the Patriots were smart, they would keep those two blocked the whole time on a screen, its alot easier for RB’s to dodge corners and safetys. I will say Chris Houston has made some nice open field tackles.

Blocking both KVB and Suh
While being mindful of CWills is quite the high price to pay. Especially considering the Giants tried and have a much better o-line.

Actually shows how much of an improvement this Defense has made when its hard to block our players

Man.
It also speaks so much on how terrible we used to be, when blocking a Lion was just understood.

My God...have you taken F-en sunshine pills or what.
Being positive is one thing, reading these last few posts I thought I was rooting for the Ravens D.
This shit is gagging me. WERE 2 AND 8!!!!!!!! No one on that team deserves a stroke job.

No sunshine pills.
Just a positive outlook on life in general, and a deep love for my team. I see good things in my team, and I’m not going to let something like 8 losses bother me. We’re doing better than last year.

And here comes the delusional rain pill
But I give praise where praise is due. Our D-Line deserves praise. Our Linebackers do not. Our secondary is in the middle somewhere.

Pats RARELY run RB screens
Bubble screens (quick pass to a slot receiver with a guard pulling to throw a hard block on a safety/lb/corner) are fairly likely though.
Couldnt agree with you more
about blitzing. Being slowly sliced and diced by a HoFer hoping against hope he will make a bad throw is a fate worse than death.
Brady may not play
He is questionable.

I guarantee you 100% he is playing bro
Bye Bye Schwartz. Sooner or later, you are gone. Preferably sooner.
Maybe so...
But will he be 100%? If I were calling the plays this week, I would pass 90% of the time and force Brady to beat us in a shootout…period.

I know what you are trying to do bro, find some light in a dark room
I love it, I really do but I think you are letting old Billy boy play you a little bit.
National stage, on Thanksgiving in front of the whole country on a day where people eat food, drink beer and watch football. There is no chance Brady is not playing and you can expect him to be sharp and effective. He always plays well on a national stage.
Bye Bye Schwartz. Sooner or later, you are gone. Preferably sooner.
Probably
But there is a chance…:o)
Plus, I don’t care how well he plays…if we go out there and pass the ball, we can stay with them.

there is always a chance
That is why it is called sport.
If there was no chance it would not be sporting.

Brady has actually been more accurate with the foot injury
As for the shoulder… hehehe.. that shoulder has been injured for years now wink :P
Blitzing more is a pretty risky move
Which may work. Brady would probably pick us apart, and it also would put a lot of pressure on our DB’s to cover well and make tackles. But if those blitzes stop the run and pressure Brady…who knows…
