PrintJust noting the obvious here. Ndamukong Suh has indeed been named the NFL Rookie of the Week.
This should have been an easy one, but Sam Bradford did have a solid game too.
It only takes a once in a generation player to get a little love around the Motor City!

Out of curiosity, I wonder how many sacks and touchdowns it will take to get the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.
Suh's highlights are worthy of viewing again. Take another look at the sacks and touchdown here.

Suhs athleticism
and his drive and his talent and his strength and his freakish nature for the love of the game is incredible. On the top ten of the top 100 NFL players recently out. There were defensive players like Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor. I’m not saying Suh will be as great as these players, but he is well on his way.

On that first sack. We had KVB and Suh standing up, while Avril and Williams were on the line. Very interesting set up once again.
