Woof.


This was a bad one.

When I saw Suh go out there to kick the extra point, I guess I forgot about how he used to play soccer as a kid.  Of course, as my Jets fan friends said right after, that point was going to cost us the game.  Sanchez was getting way too comfortable and a prevent defense isn't going to cut it against an offense that is only showing life on big plays with time in the pocket.  Heart broken almost as bad as that clown show in Chicago.

Teams like the Jets, media darlings, find a way to harness headline magic like that and we go back to our normal role, the nameless jobber for Hulk Hogan or whoever.  Welcome back to #30 or #31 in everyone's power rankings, back to hearing the experts call us THE SAME OLD LIONS, back to having way more than half of my football season Sundays winding down in teeth gnashing frustration.

I'm not sure living in NYC makes this one worse, but it sure as shit doesn't help.
