This Detroit Lions team is vastly improved since going NFL worst 0-16 in 2008. We could be easily 7-1 or 6-2 in 2010. Most times we show glimpses of greatness then we see glimpses of peer disgust, which is because how young this team is (in a vast majority). Just look at it this way, Matthew Stafford is looking more and more Injury-Prone. He isn't a Bust in my book yet because he is still young but something has to be done for this team to jump over the hump. I love Stafford, do not think I am bashing him or throwing him under the bus; because he played a brilliant game against the Jets. But looking at the future we are going to need a QB how can stay healthy. 4 injuries in less than 20 starts really jumps out to you as Injury-Prone. I wish and hope Stafford can overcome because he's shown he can play great but his various injuries are keeping us from getting over that hump. Nor is the entire team perfect because they are young as I have said but if Stafford can't lead us weeks in and out we may (which I don't wish) be looking for a QB after the 2011 season. Many people have said Sam Bradford (forbid its only been halfway through this season) was Injury-Prone before the draft selections but he is proving to not be that or a bad QB (having more wins:4 than Stafford:3 with less talent than our Lions). From my standpoint maybe we should have drafted a LB or OL/G with that 1st overall selection last year and got Bradford this year. Also Best is really disappointing me. Thoughts? Lets vent.
