Respect IS NOT GIVEN IT IS EARNED

There are a few ways you could take the Jets play early on in the game. You could say to yourselves they thought they were gonna come in and steal a win from a lowly Lions team and thus got a rude awakening 3 minutes into the game. OR you can look at the Jets play early in the game and say they just were outmatched. Anyway you look at it, I think the Lions showed you can't take em lightly. Yesterday a little respect was paid to the Lions despite the outcome.

And I know it's hard to pick up the pieces and look forward to playing the Bills but that's all we can do from this point forward.

With all the injuries and penalties the Lions lost a close one. I am not calling this a moral victory. I am not saying we should be happy because the Lions hung around with "the best team" in the league. The Jets should have been crushed. There is no doubt the better team was the Lions. What  I am saying is there is encouragement the Lions have changed their ways. Don't kid yourselves and say nothing has or will change. I know a team about two years ago that would have got spanked out there yesterday.

Let's rally behind our Lions whom I know will give it everything they have to be in every game moving forward! As tough as it is to swallow one of the more hurtful loses in 10 years, let's man up and cheer on our team.

Let's go let some frustration out on the Bills this coming Sunday!!!
