Anyone Goin to MNF in the D?

So ain't that a Bitch, the First NFL Football Game to be played in Ford Field on a Monday Night. And it is the Vikings Vs. Giants.

I think we all know by now that the Vikings are Literally falling apart, and due to their Marshmallow Dome falling like a shitty souffle, their game has been moved to Ford Field tonight.

The NFL decided to Give away Free tickets to the Fans in Detroit, 25,000 of them with a 4 person max. And people lined up all the way around Ford Field, to get them. Here is a video of the Line, check it out, these guys are pretty funny. Warning NSFW.

So My question, Is anyone going to the game tonight? Did you wait in line to get tickets? Are you going cause you had a ticket to yesterdays game?

If you think about it, there are like 150,000 tickets out there for this game. 60,000 from the original game, 60,000 from yesterdays game, and 25,000 from this morning. Now I know ALL the people from the original game won't make the trip, and I know ALL of the people that went to yesterdays game won't be coming back for tonights game. But I would Imagine that alot of them may have given their ticket stubs to friend who will.

Add in the fact that the whole event is going to be general admission and what started out to be a really cool Idea, has the potential to go Mad house Crazy. I Hope Nothing goes wrong tonight at Ford Field, Lemme Know if anyone is going down to the game. It would be cool if you Snapped some Pictures. It could be a very memorable Night.

Myself, I'll be watching the game on NFL network, at 9pm PST. MNF DOUBLE HEADER!!!!!

I know, I heard that call when they replayed it.

I kinda felt bad for the guy.

That was clearly a prank call, to me.

Just listen to how he responded to Karsch’s questions… just kept repeating “he say Detroit Lions.”

pretty sure it was a real call, and the best call i've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Like a fool i misjudged the reaction the word “free” would have on our beloved city and didnt leave my house till 915am, it took me an hour to get 2 miles and they were already saying on 97.1 that people in line were being told to go home.

I have a bad feeling about this but im hoping for the best, i work downtown and i have a perfect view, 5 cops just zoomed by with sirens full blast and people are already walking up. Should make for an interesting evening, is it 100% confirmed to be on NFL network or do you need the nfl ticket package to watch? Will they keep the lions logo on the 50?
