Winning ugly
Winning ugly is better than losing pretty. How many times have we said, somebody needs to make a play? A bunch. We have been one play away from a win a bunch of times. Levy made a play. His pick in the endzone made the chance for a win be on our side. The pack had to make a play. Good job, Levy. He seemed super smart and diagnosed the play from the pack and got our guys in the right spot, and he wrapped up on his tackles. Heller made a play. I'm not sure he was the intended reciever. Things happened fast, but I though the back had went out that way. Nice run for Heller. Drew had a good game. Every thing went bad for him and he still found a way to win. Hocules wasn't over here screwing up calls, did he have a game in Denver? Rogers, for the pack was stinking before he went out. He did not have the accuracy that he normally shows. He had two recievers who got behind our coverage, and he missed one long, and one short, that was picked. Landon Johnson had a great hit on Rogers, but I think he was acting like a walking brain injury prior to Landon's hard tackle.
Winning ugly sure beats losing pretty.

I wouldn't say Drew had a good game
He had a good drive and he ran well, but that’s it. Hopefully he’s on the up against TB. But I agree, a ugly win is much better than a pretty loss.
RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
It was ugly
It’s a W to Schwartz and the Lions record at the end of the day. It was a terrible hard to watch game but we won and I will sit through those every week to get wins.
Cannot play with them. Cannot win with them. Cannot coach with them. Can't do it. I want winners. I want people that want to win. - Mike Singletary
Ford Field was Rockin'
With a severe storm whiting out the road, a lot of Packers fans showed up. I’d guess the stadium was close to 50/50. Running so many non-running back plays made this game look more like a 1930’s game. I saw Calvin Johnson, Stephan Logan, and Drew Stanton run the ball. I liked the QB pitch option, and the reverses. At times, when I looked onto the field, Drew’s number 5, looked, just for a second, like a number 7. I wonder if Drew would like the nickname, Dutch?
Suh plays like Alex Karris only meaner.
It was a designed double screen and it was clearly designed and called...
this isnt the first time we have run that play and im pretty sure it wont be the last… It stuff like that constantly working that will really fuck people when they blitz us, and will open up stafford and CJ
Matthew Stafford, Quarterback: a man barely alive, Gentlemen we can rebuild him, We have the technology, We have the capability to make the worlds first bionic QB, Matthew Stafford will be that man, Better than he was before
Better, Stronger, Faster
I really enjoyed the double screen play.
The smallest guy Logan getting it and handing it to the tallest guy CJ.

Logan was very impressive to me as a RB
I joked with Shane and said that Logan could be the lightning to Mo Mo’s thunder…lol
It's a terrible thing to have to tell your fans, who have waited like Detroit's have, that their team won't win it this year. But it's better than lying to them.

I'll take an ugly win any day...
Hell, we got 7 of them in ’07.
Me on the 2008 Detroit Pistons..
"Blowing leads, losing to poor quality teams, having a coach that preaches defense but we can barely guard a soul. This is reminding me too much of the Detroit Lions…
…depression starting to set in."
Good Times!
That was actually the prettiest win I've seen the Lions get in almost 15 years.
I would rank that win higher than any win we got this season but can’t because of the terrible downslide they had after that game. It still baffles me the meltdown they had after a strong victory like this…gives me a headache thinking about it.

I think our victory against the Rams is impressive...
Probably the most convincing I’ve seen.
