Amazing experience in Tampa

I am a Lions fan who has lived in Florida for the last 8 years and for the last 4 years has come back for Christmas and summer while I attend school in Kansas. While on break I went to the game today (i'm the guy in the white Suh Jersey that raised his hands as soon as the kick went up around the crossbar), and I was blown away on how many Lions fans were in attendance today. As you looked through the crowd there was a good smattering of Honolulu Blue throughout. The scene after the game was what really struck me. All the Lions fans were celebrating as one as this was such a big win for us being the second in a row and the first road win in forever. Slapping hands, giving hugs to total strangers as we left the stadium. It was just incredible. All the suffering, all the horrible defeats even this season of being so close and to pull out a game of this magnitude against a good team on the road was just incredible. It made me think of great it will be when we finally get over the hump and become a contender in this league. We have such a great fanbase that has been through so much and yet we still support this team because we believe. I'm proud of this team, these fans, and the City because today was really a great day to be a Lions fan. I just wanted to share this with you all as I lurk this site quite a bit but really don't post often. GO LIONS!!!!
