Lions Off-Season

So, Let me start off by saying I’m not just a random lunatic fan trying to get the best person out in the market. I’m just considering the best moves that will help the Lions out in the future. I really liked what Jim and Martin did over the last off-season. By the acquisitions of Corey Williams, KVB, Nate Burleson, LoJack, Scheffler and Rob Sims. They’re really doing what needs to be done around here.

This Year I really don’t think we need improvement on the front d-line. On the other hand our LB corp. needs a lot of help. So this is what I consider doing.  Getting David Harris off free agency because there’s no way the jets could resign everyone. Well make him MLB. And move Deandre Levy to the outside where he essentially was. Get Rid Of Julian Peterson he’s just  a waste of big bucks anyways. Then get Akeem Ayers in the draft. That takes care of our Linebacker issue.

Our secondary needs help but not as much as our LB’s. So this is not the top thing on our mind right now. So I say take Patrick Peterson With our high overall pick or if he’s off the board we take Prince Amukamara. Move Chris Houston to our second CB. Then Alphonso Smith to nickel. Also if we have the chance we get Donte Whitner To teach Amari Spivey some veteran moves.

Lastly we pick-up Malcom Floyd off free-agency. To compliment Calvin Johnson. We will move Nate Burleson to slot-receiver, I guarantee he will make a better slot then a #2 receiver.

As you can see we do got some holes in our team, but not as much as the past years. Our franchise is heading in the right direction. I support Shwartz and Martin 100%. I believe we can be a High-Caliber playoff team in a couple years.
