There is no "L" in Mike Iupati's name

It's an "I" (as in eye for those still seeing a lower-case L).  That is all.

Thanks Sean.

I wasted about three hours on the Google trying to find this Lupati fellow. I did not think the NFL was interested in the characters I found.

Three Hours?

Even with the wrong spelling using an “L”, he comes up #5 on the first page of Google.

No matter how you spell it, he sucked at the Senior Bowl.

Hey, as long as Zack Follett keeps hitting people, he can rap to Barney the Dinosaur for all I care.

I'm clearly biased and want big mike with our number 2

that said, he struggled at times but if you watched closely, the times he struggled were when he played at RG. He never played anywhere but left guard in college and admitted he didn’t feel comfortable playing on the right. The lagarrette blount td was run right off mike and clearly run blocking is his strong suit but I watched all 12 of the Idaho games this season and I can assure you he had no problems with pass protection. He didn’t give up a sack and only allowed 5 qb hurries and we were a pass first team all year averaging 34 pass attempts a game. Obviously the level of competition was a little different but I think game tape should count for more than a few plays when he wasn’t in his natural position.

Easily the coolest post on POD...

The Bringers of Hope: Stafford - Delmas - C. Johnson - Pettigrew - Levy - Hill - Schwartz
Zack Follett: he will hurt your mind.

Lol I figured people would catch on after a while

But it wasn’t happening and I couldn’t take it anymore. Then again, even the SBN tagger has it with an L, so I’ve got support on that to fix it lol

Shhhh, Sean

Keep this under your hat. We want some poor schmuck team to draft this Lupati fellow, leaving Iupati all to us.

He struggled at RG

And I believe thats what Schwartz wanted to see. He tested him against elite competition, something he did not face often in college.

Only the Schwartz knows if he passed or not.
