If Stafford fails...

I just watched the interview with Mooch and Stafford. I seriously love this guy and if it doesn't work out like it did with Joey and Andre Ware and Mitchell and Batch etc. I think I may be done with the Lions and seriously never root for another NFL franchise. I love this team. The coaches, some of the players, and the city but if Matthew doesn't work I don't know if I can do it all again. The biggest reason is the Man-Crush I have on Matthew. He is my favorite Lion since Barry and he has only played in 10 games.

I don't think this will be a failure. Schwartz is a winner, Stafford is a winner.

My question is though: Do you guys think you could deal with another rebuilding phase if this one doesn't work?

Hell

the excitement is seeing the daily/monthly roster movements, waiver and draft adjustments…

keeper fantasy football is what ultimately got me to where I follow every Lions roster change as I do my keeper teams.

I love being a Lions fan even more… not the losing but like the Saints we will get there!!!!!!!! you might laugh at me but this front office staff could be the best we’ve had… unlike Millen… the front office FINALLY gets it… Mayhew knows if he gets the Lions to the playoff it would be a HUGE accomplishment.. if he can last …with no huge mistakes… (splash of koolaide talking)…. he will be GM of the year! mark my words!

GO LIONS in 2010! the transformation starts now.. they have much to do.

I'm a Lions fan

The players are representatives of the Lions. They come and go. I’ll root for them while they are here but no one player can make me leave.

The Bringers of Hope: Stafford - Delmas - C. Johnson - Pettigrew - Levy - Hill - Schwartz
Zack Follett: he will hurt your mind.

Wow...

I may have been replaced as the president of the Matthew Stafford Fan Club.

Me… I’m a Lion for life. Even if Matt succeeds, that success will only last 10-15 years. I plan on being a Lion’s fan for another 50+.

Hell No I Won't Ever Give Up On The Lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been stationed In alot of cities were they have there pro teams close by. My Wife and I will go to the games just for the love of sports & when ever our Lions, Pistons, Tigers or Red Wings come to town. but unless they are playing one of our teams it just feels weird & wrong being there in the first place. Kinda like cheating in a way. No matter how bad of a headace the Lions give me I Love Them. I was born a Lions fan & i’ll die a Lions fan.

They've been rebuilding since 1958

There’s only one constant throughout all those years.

No fair weather fans in Detroit!

As a Detroit Lions fan, there really is no such thing as being a fair weather fan. I will stick with the Lions until they are good…no matter what. And how satisfying that will be! I was a Pistons fan before it was popular…I went to games for years. When they finally won the championship in 2004, what an awesome feeling! I felt like I was part of the journey. There will be absolute pandemonium in Detroit if the Lions ever make it to the Superbowl!

thats a negative on the man crush....

but yeah, my name is shane and I’m a Lions fan. I moved 8 yrs. ago to SW florida and I’m still wearin blue and black.ya cant replace your hometown team, unless your fair-weather and I’m not. not to beat on a dead horse, we need an o-line. It cant be argued
