Geography POLL

Inspired by the great comments in Lostincali's post here, and because I like data, I'm curious to see just a snapshot of how we in the PoD community are spread out...

Sorry if there is overlap in these options, or if I missed your locale, I am not a geographer.

Antarctica

I live in Utah, but I was awfully tempted to vote for Antarctica – thanks for making that an option, it made me smile.

Utah is so deeply red that it often feels like I am much further away from Michigan than I am. Thanks for keeping me close to my Lions!!

North of Grand Rapids

Former Rampage Country … The Arena League was o.k. to watch if you didn’t have to pay for it. I think I gave up on the one game I went to where ever time someone scored they played “T.N.T. its DYNOMITE” over and over at naseuma.

Grand Rapids

I was at the playoffs and Arena Bowl 15 in 2001, watched the Rampage win it all, got loud and boisterous, got to heckle the commish, see Elway, cheer on Clint Dolezel……..and caught a game ball in the semifinals the week before, which I still have. Good times. Glory days in G.R. with the local football team winning the Arena Bowl a mile from my house. Got to celebrate on the field. Next best thing to the Lions winning the Super Bowl………and that won’t likely be a mile from my house.

I used KDawg's secret method to vote twice as I screwed up my first vote. LOL

I am in the Black Out Zone.

Just a word about the geography aspect. Ontario is a big province and though it borders Michigan, fans in Ottawa, Petawawa, Wawa, Greater Madawaska, North Kawartha, East Garafraxa, Matachewan, Mattawa, and Mattawan are not really that close to Detroit.
Not to mention the fans in Manitoba [borders Minnesota] in Flin Flon, Plum Coulee, Wawanesa, and The Pas.

I don’t think there are a lot of Lions fans in those towns although us Canucks are known to cheer for the underdog.

Prescott, MI

Not just outside of Detroit, but still in blackout zone (halfway at least)…
I get both Fox 66 (Flint) and Fox 33 (cadillac) and both CBSs so I get them even when they are blacked out. But anyways – an hour north of Saginaw
