Guide to the 2010 NFL Scouting Combine

The 2010 NFL Scouting Combine officially got underway yesterday in Indianapolis with the arrival of offensive linemen, tight ends, kickers, and other special teams players.  Today quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers arrived, with other positions set to come to Indy in the coming days.  The workouts don't really get started until Saturday (kickers and other special teams players do work out on Friday) because yesterday, today, and tomorrow are basically a gauntlet of interviews, exams, and other off the field activities.  Even so, draft fever is already heating up simply because of the fact that the NFL Combine has technically started, so let's take a look at what is taking place in Indy in the coming days.

No offense

But stop spamming links to your blog. You’ve posted 2 comments and both of them were just links to your blog.

Im not trying to spam

I don’t mean to spam, i am just trying to get my name out there and tell people what kind of things I will do. Sorry if it offended you

I am by no means...

a frequent poster, and I had to take a long break on this outstanding blog due to reasons beyond my control but…

The rules of self-promotion are quite simple:

Join a blog/community.
Make insightful, relevant comments.
Slowly but surely make your personal view known.
Show why a website of your own is useful.

Anything else is spamming. And yes, you did mean to, unless the hotkey of your keyboard’s period key happens to be “Uniform Resource Locator of my own design.”

Regardless, as they said in Field of Dreams, “Build Solid Detroit Lions Commentary, and they will come.”

Not only that, but Sean is the POD creator and board moderator.....

He’s not asking you to stop spamming your site because it offends him. he is TELLING you to stop spamming your site because he is the boss and that is the rules! Good advice: Stop spamming your site or suffer the consequences!

It wont happen again.

I was just trying to put a link instead of copying and pasting a 700 word article as a comment. I was not putting my link in all comments i put it in two. On was about the combine and i said i will be writing live comments while watching the combine look here if you want to. The other was about the Lions trading down so I put a link to my article about a possible trade solution. I am taking a media writing class in college and all readings say to link as much as possible. Guess it was wrong; stupid profs. It won’t happen again sorry it was so distracting it wont happen again.

I saw your article on another thread.....

And I thought that you did a good job. It is much smarter for you to do things that way on this site. Might I suggest asking people to contact you privately in some manner (e-mail etc) if they would like to read more on your personal blog site?

If you want to be taken seriously,

You should get a real domain name and build content on your site. Let the content be what pulls traffic, not links in comments on other related sites. If you want to be a blogger, research the subject first.

-Colt McCoy- Tim Tebow

Can either of these two quarterbacks give a strong enough showing at the combine to end up playing in the NFL next year?

by Kirt-LionFaninGR! on Feb 25, 2010 9:33 PM EST reply actions

Neither are performing at the combine, Dr. Andrews advised Colt to wait to his pro day and Tebow is taking the time to continue to retool his throwing motion. Jimmy Clausen is also sitting out while healing his toe. They are still attending to meet with the scouts but nothing more, the quarterbacks that could be on the rise are Tony Pike and Dan LeFevour, if they can show they can play under center and have the skills to make it at the next level.

Bref

I’m 54 and twice divorced, I have to retool my tool every night. Still works, though.

LeFevour-

I like LeFevour out of CMU, he had better numbers than Big Ben Roethlisberger. I think he will be the best quarterback out of this group! He needs to go to a team like the Vikings or someone else that can wait a little for a QB.

Agreed

His athleticism is hugely impressive. The only real knock I have on him is his lack of experience and his ability as a run blocker.
