Imagine

Trading for Cromartie and then drafting Eric Berry? Just like the linebacking corp of last year, a weakness suddenly becomes a near-strength

Aint that the truth

I was content to just listen to discussions and rumors before blurting out my own opinions. The offseason will soon be in full swing so i’ll probably be alot more active

I did see somebody had a saftey ranked ahead....

….Of Berry and it wasnt Mays because he was 3rd….who could be ranked ahead of those 2?….it was a scrolling list and never saw again.

got the message myself on NFL moblie

I am excited if this is true. He would be a great addition and if we got kyle wilson too we’d be set a corner for once. Now Originally San Deigo wanted a RB for Antonio so somethin tells me its either Mo morris or / and a Draft pick.

Keep in mind this journalist

Is notorious for being the mouth piece puppet of our GM. But if its true, Cro is a well above average corner.

Im just hoping that we at least manage to pry away the high 3rd of Detroits.

Here's to wishing

Although I wouldn’t expect too much in the way of pick compensation if it IS true… Mayhew and Co. covet their draft picks, especially as high as we draft… I wouldn’t be surprised to see 2 or 3 players go your way for Cromartie and maybe a late round pick… Here’s what I envision:

SD recieves:

LB Julian Peterson
RB Aaron Brown
Pick # 143 (Round 5 Pick 15)

DET recieves:

CB Antonio Cromartie
Pick #91 (Round 3 Pick 27)

Least I’d be fine with that. :)

;)

Hey I never said I was affiliated with a front office.

Just what I’d be OK with…

god i hope not...

i am hearing

Avril straight up

5th (DEN) straight up

Great deal

Dunno if SD will go for it, Cromartie is pretty young, I would assume they would want a reasonably high pick for him. They dont get much youth in return, Aaron Brown is just a homeless dude’s Darren Sproles.

Interesting developments

He’d definitely be an upgrade, especially if he can put full effort in. I just hope the cost isn’t too much.

Aaron Brown

I’m assuming the Chargers want Aaron Brown, and a late pick. I don’t think it’s a bad trade for either team.

by mpsteen2 on Feb 28, 2010 6:53 PM EST reply actions

rather give them smith and no pick

brown is our KR and has lot of up side.. also not a millen pick

by det32 on Feb 28, 2010 6:55 PM EST up reply actions

We got Derrik Williams....

…Who wil lreturn kicks…We can afford to give up brown if we really want too….Id much rather have Smith then Brown…I like Brown but we have Williams to return kicks and we will be drating a RB or signing one.

by BennieBladesFan on Feb 28, 2010 7:04 PM EST up reply actions

But...

Cromartie could, and would, be our KR
