Stafford talks off-season

Last year's No. 1 overall pick also says he's had a chance to give input to Lions coaches and front office regarding the team's offseason personnel plans.
"It's nice that they respect me and trust my knowledge of the game enough to ask me as a rookie," he said. "I know Peyton Manning, he probably runs the (Colts') war room. But to be a rookie and be asked, that was fun. We talked toward the end of the season. ... We're all pretty much in agreement in what we need."
So what does he need? Well, Stafford's not going to give away any secrets.
"Some pieces," Stafford said, smiling. "And I'll be all right."
It sounds like this Team is already his and he is the unquestioned leader. Thats great to hear.

Is he changing the locks on the restrooms?

(I hear that Eric Berry guy is pretty good, too)
Hey, as long as Zack Follett keeps hitting people, he can rap to Barney the Dinosaur for all I care.
Expect a WR early
Probably in the 2nd or 3rd round. I quite like Jordan Shipley…
The Bringers of Hope: Stafford - Delmas - C. Johnson - Pettigrew - Levy - Hill - Schwartz
Zack Follett: he will hurt your mind.
Jets should be a model
Of what we want to accomplish. With the D and Run game Sanchez and less pressure on him than Stafford. I belive Matthew is still the better QB an could use another reciver. On a team built like the NYJ he could actually do MORE than dirty sanchez.

I hate the Jets
and I don’t think Jets should be our model team, we have different type of talent here. We have a hard-hitting safety, a great wideout, and a great qb, combined with some pieces likes Pettigrew, and K-Smith. SOunds more like the Colts to me.
The beginning of the end of the misery
Maybe Chargers offense and Eagles blitzing 4-3 defense
Closest parallels I can think of offhand.
