Derek Anderson?

He's young and he has a cannon for an arm and i'm pretty sure we could get him on the cheap. Sure, he had one good season as a starter but all we need is some insurance for Stafford. Right now i'm just hoping for anybody but Culpepper.

I'm sure there are other options out there. I think this is something the Lions need to consider for the simple fact that Stafford got a little dinged up last year.

I say do it ..

Yeah we can get him on the cheap, hes young so we can develop him and with a loaded offense i would say his cannon arm could be a fit in a pinch if stafford is out a game or so.

Longtime lurker, part-time poster and no-time for trolls. I’m thinkin depending on other teams QB needs we are in a prime position to do some weelin & dealin and still be in a great spot to pick up either one. Let’s just hope after this draft us Lion fans won’t be “discussing” another high draft pick connundrum like this one for a very long time. I’ve been a fan since ‘91 and it’s been nerve-wracking but these last 8 or 9 years have made me grey prematurely.
