I know a RB the Lions WILL NOT take in the draft

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/03/11/blount-blows-off-pro-day/

WHat a joke!... A chance to make millions or at least hundred of thousands of dollars and you blow off your pro day?  LOL.  DUmb!  I can't believe it.  His name?

 Can you say Blount?

Sad .. Absolutely sad.   He was the guy that punched the player and got suspended for 10 games.  I guess he does not want to go to the NFL unless he has an injury or some skeletons in the closet?  I'm sure we will get an explanation soon.  Right?

Shame

This is a league of second chances and we will still see a team grab him because of his talent but player’s who are dumb enough to make moves like this after teams finally started seeing your good side just don’t belong in this league or any league for that matter.

Try MMA Blount.

Yeah.. whats up with that?

He made a good impression in the Senior Bowl and then pull this crap! Meanwhile someone like Stafon Johnson who just came back from the worst injury possible, yet is there for everything!

From Schefter:

“It could be that LeGarrette Blount wasn’t scheduled for today. RT @Alex_Braga: There’s another Oregon pro day next Thursday.”

REPORT UPDATE -

Per his agent, Blounts Pro day work outs will be with the 2nd schedualed pro day with the team at a later date. This had been established before, Pro Day work outs with NFL teams and coaches that they had been in contact with, not all of them. This is why the coaches who showed to the 1st Pro day, not in contact with his agent, were so shocked. They were not informed previous to showing up according to reports.

Very dissapointing.

This is a guy that I was keeping an eye on, but skipping out on your own pro day sends all kinds of red flags. I think he’s worth taking with a sixth still, but anything higher then that would be a mistake.

I’m in the camp that thinks we should take Jahvid Best in the second if he falls out of the first. He would give us the explosive back we’ve been missing since Barry left, as his 4.35 40 proves.
