Its going to be BPA at every pick

Since Mayhew and Schwartz are all about best player available I thought I would come up with a list of the BPA that I believe the Lions should go by in each round:

First Round:

  1. Ndamukong Suh,DT
  2. Eric Berry,S
  3. Gerald McCoy,DT
  4. Russell Okung,OT
  5. Joe Haden,CB
  6. Derrick Morgan,DE
  7. Anthony Davis,OT
  8. CJ Spiller,RB
  9. Dan Williams,DT
  10. Earl Thomas,S

Second Round :

  1. Kyle Wilson,CB
  2. Everson Griffen,DE
  3. Taylor Mays,SS
  4. Brian Price,DT
  5. Ryan Matthews,RB
  6. Maurkice Pouncey,OG/OC
  7. Jared Odrick,DT
  8. Devin McCourty,CB
  9. Arrelious Benn,WR
  10. Jonathon Dwyer,RB

Third Round:

  1. Dexter McCluster,RB
  2. Ben Tate,RB
  3. Dominique Franks,CB
  4. Brandon Ghee,CB
  5. Vladimir Ducasse,OG
  6. Reshad Jones,S
  7. Darrell Stuckey,SS
  8. Demaryious Thomas,WR
  9. Chris Cook,CB
  10. Chad Jones,S
  11. Alex Carrington

Forth Round:

  1. Amari Speivey,CB
  2. John Jerry,OG
  3. Perrish Cox,CB
  4. Major Wright,S
  5. Donovan Warren,CB
  6. Dekoda Watson,OLB
  7. Toby Gerhart,RB
  8. Montario Hardesty,RB
  9. Jacoby Ford,WR/KR
  10. Marshall Newhouse,OG

Fifth Round:

  1. Jason Worilds,DE/OLB
  2. Jeremy Williams,WR
  3. Ed Dickson,TE
  4. Myron Rolle,SS
  5. Javier Arenas,CB/KR
  6. Jerome Murphy,CB
  7. Larry Asante,SS
  8. LeGarrett Blount,RB
  9. Trevard Lindley,CB
  10. SydQuan Thompson,CB

Sixth Round:

  1. Walter Thurmond III,CB
  2. Kam Chancellor,S
  3. Daryl Sharpton,ILB
  4. Mike Williams,WR
  5. Antonio Brown,WR/KR
  6. Brandon Carter,OG/OT
  7. John Conner,FB
  8. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah,CB
  9. Randy Phillips,S
  10. Jeff Byers,OG

Seventh Round:

  1. Freddie Barnes,WR
  2. Brandon Sharpe,DE
  3. Alterraun Vernor,CB
  4. Taylor Price,WR
  5. Armanti Edwards,QB/WR
  6. Stevie Brown,S
  7. Javarris James,RB
  8. Trindon Holliday,WR/KR
  9. Jeff Owens,DT
  10. Zoltan Mesko,P

This obviously is not the same list as the Lions. I know the people on the top of the lists most likely will not be there but if available thats who should be the pick. This is my realistic draft:

2. Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

34. Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers

66. Reshad Jones, S, Georgia

101. Amari Speivey, CB, Iowa

135. Legarrette Blount,RB, Oregon

218. Trindon Holliday, WR/KR, LSU

Lemme know what you would do and if you would take it. GOOOO LIONS!!!!

well done

Don’t have much to complain about here.

How do you keep a running back out of your secondary? You put up a LEVY.

I would actually like to see

Tommy Vardell 2.0 still there in the 4th round, If he is there I don’t see how we could pass up Gerhart in the 4th reguardless of what we need at other positions. He could very easily be a damn good goalline guy for us.

How many lumps you want Doc?

I would bet...

That Detroit finds a buyer for the #34 pick… and definitely for the #101.

Having a day between rounds 1 and 2, & 3 and 4 is going to help the Lions.
