An idea why we haven't moved on a RB yet
The Lions brought in John Connor a FB for a visit, he is graded out as a 6th or 7th round. Why would we be looking at a FB when we have Jerome Felton? Maybe instead of drafting or signing a RB we are drafting a old school FB and moving Felton over to our power running back. Felton was a power back in college and was drafted as a FB so he has the exprience, at least it could be a reason why we have been so quite in the RB area when we need one.

might just want a little dept at FB too
How do you keep a running back out of your secondary? You put up a LEVY.
Always loved Felton
I love this guy…if he can stay healthy he can be great. He has nice, soft hands out of the backfield and can bulldoze people. I am always disappointed that he gets underutilized game after game.

Dunno why they would do that
Why waste a visit on a FB/RB? Just attend his pro-day, and if seems legit, draft him with the 7th round pick
The beginning of the end of the misery
So they can ask in private
So you don’t mind lowering your head and running into LB, DT that are bigger, stronger and out weigh you. Work for less money while the guy behind you makes more $$$ and gets all the attention and fame. Would you do this for 6-8 years or till we release you… LOL thats why they invite them to visit.. : )
I've said this since before the beginning of this past season
Move Felton to RB. Get a real FB (they should have kept Terrelle Smith) and use Felton like the Giants use Brandon Jacobs.
I’d love to not have to draft an RB and roll with Smith/Felton/Morris/Brown as our RBs. Would LOVE it.
You could be on to something
Felton has the strength to be a power back so it’s possible that we draft a FB late.

Interesting take msivits...
thinking “outside the box” I like it.
if the shoe fits...get another one just like it - George Carlin
Felton
made some very nice blocks later in season. I am a believer—he should be getting more reps as a ball carrier.

Hey, as long as Zack Follett keeps hitting people, he can rap to Barney the Dinosaur for all I care.
I agree and disagree
He can’t block consitantly….but he should get more carries.

One fact makes gives this idea legs
Felton can’t block that well, but he does have decent running power.
