One thing many have not commented on. the Lions can get him right now.. seriously,. they are #2 on the waiver wire... no one would expect to sign him... get him now and redo the contract... Yes like would be on the hook on his ... 4 mill bonus due tommorrow and a 8 mill salary. yes... why not extend it and get the guy if it were that easy...

They have 7 hours to get him on waivers (can any one confirm this?) the Lions can fill a huge hole with him and Selmas!!!!!! that would be ballsy by the Lions brass.. It probably won't happen but... your thoughts???? The draft could be even more directed to the right areas!!!

I don’t think waivers apply anymore once FA starts. I may be wrong but I don’t think it mewans crap what our record was last year now. I don’t know for sure though. Anyhow I would love to see Rolle along side Delmas!!!!!!!! but………….. He’ll go to Miami. Mayhew has surprised me thus far so I would be ecstatic if he could pull of another miracle. I know I was shocked with the Dallas Roy williams trade last year so who knows maybe he can talk him in to coming here, one can hope!!!!

i thought that waivers ended at 1200AM also (start of FA)… I wish I remember where I read that.. but it does not matter… Miami has a first shot advantage unless we bid more but it still does not guarantee him or others will come here… the bad rap could end this year finally. I strongly believe the Lions are gaining a better name for themselves in the league. Talk is cheap… actual moves will tell us all where we are going

By the way… DE Grant was released by the Saints…. (starcaps red flag) .. he may be a nice addition to our line?

I think that their playoff streak is over. They won’t have Warner, Rolle, and probably will lose Boldin. Looks like next year they will really struggle unless Matt Leinart comes out strong!
