Pure Awesomeness

As promised, here is the awesome-est fan-post off-season ever. I was really thinking about postponing it until Tuesday because of the quick start to free-agency, but I can change what I've been envisioning since week 15 of the regular season in about 15 minutes.
FA Signings:
DE KVB, WR Nate Burleson, QB Jake Delhomme(Stafford needs a veteran backup)
I would rather have the Lions getting Kampman, but that's very unlikely now.
Players/Picks Aquired via Trade:
DT Corey Williams/7th
1-6/1-14
OLB Shawn Crable/2-15/7-?(Crable doesn't fit New England's 3-4, but would do great in Detroit's blitz-happy defense)
3-14
Re-Sign:
Foote, Bullocks
Draft:
1-6: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
1-14: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
2-2: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
2-15: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
3-2: Vladimir Ducasse, LG, UMASS
3-14: Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson
6-2: Brandon Carter, G, Texas Tech
7-?: Zoltan Mesko, P, Michigan
7-?: Hunter Lawrence, K, Texas
I have the Lions trading the #2 pick to Seattle for both their first rounders. The Lions use those picks on DB's. They could also take Dan Williams at #14, but with C. Williams, the need is way smaller. They could also take D. Morgan here. For their second second rounder, they trade their 2011 1st and 4th to the Patriots for New England's 2nd rounder, 7th rounder, and Shawn Crable, and take Wilson. Then, the Lions trade their 4th and 5th rounders to the Panthers' for a 3rd rounder. Instead of Ford, they could also take Toby Gerhart.
Projected Starters:
Defense:
KVB - Hill - Williams - Graham
Peterson - Foote/Levy - Levy/Sims
Wilson - Delmas - Berry - Haden
Offense:
C. Johnson - Pettigrew - Backus - Ducasse - Riaola - Peterman - Cherilus - Burleson/Ford
Stafford
Felton
Smith

I think there is a decent shot hes there
One of the biggest landing spots was ATL and they just got Robinson, and the talent is so good at the other positions in this draft that teams mgiht want to draft talent before a need
The beginning of the end of the misery
There's no way after the combine he's getting past 20
Haden fucked himself a bit with that 40 and Wilson blew it up with 25 reps… so not withstanding their pro days, the gap is tighter, probably both wind up 14-25 range.

The question on Kyle Wilson.....
Is not his strength, speed, vertical, or agility…….never was. The question is whether or not he has the stamina to continuously run in coverage against the best WRs in the NFL…..
There was another person here on POD who mentioned the idea that Wilson did not play a true CB1 position in college…..I berated him, stating that he did because Boise State did run a 4-3 defense along with their base nickle 4-2-5. TCLion pointed out to me that while this is true, Boise State also typically only utilized the 4-3 defense against run heavy teams, and next to never against pass happy teams. Therefore, when Kyle Wilson faced the best competition at WR, he always had the help of two safeties over the top, which allowed him to release his man much sooner than if he were in a standard 4-3. This is a great point.
The question is not “Can Kyle Wilson tackle, can he run fast, can he change direction etc”……it is “Does Kyle Wilson’s skill set translate to the NFL level as a starting CB1, and as such does he have the stamina to hang with the big dogs”? He might very well be stronger and faster than Joe Haden, but Joe Haden is the better cover corner…..and you can see that on tape.
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
I still like Wilson a lot GRLion......lol

i would start eating it... i mean havent you all wasy wonder what a 1mil dolers tasted liked after you
put it in a blender for 30sec
That's just retarded
for a guy who feels he is good enough to only try 50% of the time.
Haynesworth syndrome anyone?
A great talent with wildly inconsistent play who gets his big payday. Then doesn’t really have to work anymore, because, what’s the point? He got what he really wanted and that is the money. He has no incentive to work hard anymore.
umm...
This is an awful lot of speculation. And the Seahawks trade definitely wouldn’t look like that, 6 and 14 is way too much value to give straight up for 2, particularly considering every year all the top teams are trying to trade down and nobody in the bottom of the round wants to trade up. Only way they will probably want to trade up for the pick at all is if they are absolutely smitten with Bradford and the Rams take Suh. They do need to find a successor for Hasselbeck, so it’s not out of the question, but it will probably be more like pick number 6 and a third rounder.
And as a side note, I am not big on Jacoby Ford. I know he had the fastest 40 time at the combine but he dropped a lot of balls at Clemson, and just seems like a guy who will have a career of inconsistency.
WHY MESKO????
Everything else is good, but Mesko is not needed.

he's the "game changing" punter LMAO!!!
I doubt seattle will trade both there 1st rounders its not out of the question. I think it be smart to keep 2 picks in the 1st.
The best there is, The best there was, and the best there ever will be - Bret the Hitman hart
No chance with Seatle
After losing Burleson, I think Seattle is going to spend #6 pick on B Marshall. Heck, the guying is actually going to see them. Give them a good 1-2 punch with him and TJ and they still have to #14 pick.
I think all it takes is their pick 14
But they have to offer a contract to Marshall that Denver won’t just match……
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
Tender offer is not a trade.....
Let’s say the Seahawks offered Marshall a 4 year deal worth 40 million…..then the Broncos could pony up and match that offer, or they could allow him to go to Seattle, in which case Seattle would have to give A first round pick as compensation. Denver does not get to choose what pick, as long as it is a first rounder.
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
I was unaware of that.
If the draft pick is this years, even though they have 2, I don’t know that they would part with either pick. A QB might be a bigger target for them.
Actually
It has to be that teams regular first rounder, not just a first rounder – therefore it would have to be their 6th pick. They could do an actual trade with Denver to give them their 14th pick.

You’re right……good call!
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
And it has to be in this year's draft too I believe......
No way will Seattle give up pick 6 for Brandon Marshall……
