Hicks signs with Skins

OL, CB, RB are critical for the upcoming season for us to be better than the Bears. I feel we closer to the pack but... those three positions must be addressed before the draft. The CB spot will be easier this year with a stronger front line.. With James exploring his options and really no CB depth, it has to be done. Any thoughts on where the Lions go from here? We still have a way to go but those three spots filled with make me breathe easier.

I think we might make a offer towards him if he passes a physical.

Options
Their really aren’t many options at those proposed positions out there free agent wise. Most of the guys left are either coming off of major injuries or have huge question marks on them.
The Lions may have to look at other teams depth charts to try to get a capable player or two by using either a future or late round pick or picks. Almost like the Cards/Jets trade of Safety Kerry Rhodes for 4th rounder and 7th next year.
