Anything new about Lito Sheppard?

I know he came for a 2 day visit and there were reports that he was going to 2 more teams (sometimes i think that an agent -will say my guys going somewhere when he leaves here ) to try and get the team to sign his guy. I think Lito would be a nice addition to this team.He has played on a few good teams,hes 28-29 yrs old.He would be a real good nickle back or could even be used as a starter,if pressed into it.Corner back is an area the Lions still need to upgrade with 2-3 more guys. Sign Lito,and draft the best CB at 34 ,this would really help the CBs.maybe still see if Adam Jones can play.

Don't think these guys are solely waiting on the Lions

Odds are, these guys are going to wait and see if they can get another team interested, and use the Lions as bargaining leverage to try and get a better deal. Sheppard is washed up, this years Anthony Henry. The only way they sign with the Lions is if they can’t find a playoff contender that will give them a contract.

I dont get why people are saying a 29 year old corner is old and worn out. Hes still got some gas and at worst can help coach up Houston, Wade and hopefully Pacman and McCourtey
