With the 52nd pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks.

Here is Jettero2112's reasoning for the pick:

The Steelers are in need of several positions, including quarterback (I almost selected Colt McCoy here) and defensive line, but the biggest need as I see it is at either corner or safety. I looked at both Dominique Franks and Patrick Robinson but believe that Franks is the best of the remaining corners on the board. He has good size and speed and should be a decent pass coverage corner at the next level. An added bonus is that he is also a return man and will help out on special teams.
