My choice : Trade (2) 7th rounders or a 7th and a 2011 5/6th rounder for Rocky McIntosh.
2. The Leos need to solidify the rest of the team through the draft, heres my updated mock because of the trade:
1st round (2). Ndamukong Suh, DT - Its simple, he's the best and most dominate defensive player in college since Charles Woodson.
2nd round (34). Kareem Jackson, CB - Even though I like McCourty a bit more, I think that he will be gone and Jackson may actually be more pro ready anyways.
3rd round (66). Chad Jones, S - A big hitting safety with dreads will fit in perfect with the rest of the secondary. I would have Gerhart here if I didnt think he would be gone in the late 2nd round.
4th round (100). Eric Norwood, OLB/DE - With all of the RB's most likely gone, I decided to go with the BPA at a position of need. If Hardesty, Dwyer, Tate or any of those guys fall into the 4th, or top of the 3rd, I could see the Lions making a move for them.
7th round (213). Javarris James, RB - BPA approach here, and Miami is known for pumping out great RB talent
7th round (214). Rashawn Jackson, FB - With only one FB on the roster, Jackson could be a great late round pick up.
7th round (220). Zac Robinson, QB - Always take a late round QB, who knows what they could develop into. And Stanton is doo doo butter.
7th round (Mr. Irrelevant). Ryan Stamper, OLB - Played at Florida, so has speed and talent, just needs more of a mental game.
I think that Mayhew will make a move for one of the RB's available, either Marshawn Lynch, Marion Barber, or Ronnie Brown. I think he will also package 7th rounders to move up into the 4th or 5th round to get a target guy or use them in a RB trade.
