With the 60th pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Oklahoma State cornerback Perrish Cox.
Here is stumpy8100's reasoning for the pick (check out his position by position breakdown for the Seahawks here):
At this point in the draft, I'm not going to say I'm an expert on all of the remaining prospects so I basically just went with Mike Mayock's rankings. The Seahawks clearly have a need for a DB and I'm going to take a player that Mayock really likes and so do I. Cox is good sized for a corner but still has good speed (4.5 at the combine). Combine him with Derrick Morgan and the Seahawks have really upgraded their defense. With Dez Bryant making plays on the other side of the ball, it's not inconceivable that Seattle makes a run at a division crown in the weak NFC West.
